Our clients expect us to provide fully-trained staff who will comply with Health & Safety regulations when working on their premises. Here’s how we approach Health & Safety.

We commit to operating in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act of 1974

We also comply with The Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1999 and all other applicable regulations and codes of practice, so far as is reasonably practicable.

We assess workplace risks

Our management team ensure that significant risks are assessed, and that suitable and sufficient measures are adopted to allow each employee/contractor to carry out their duties safely and without risk to health. We provide clients with Method Statements covering our risk analysis with each new contract.

We maintain the equipment our cleaners use and develop safe working systems

Suitable equipment is provided and maintained in a safe condition, and we strive to develop safe systems of work. This includes an equipment policy covering the machinery our cleaners use.

We constantly seek to improve

We take Health & Safety seriously and strive to achieve continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance.

We inform and support staff

Each employee/contractor is made aware of their responsibility for their own Health & Safety and that of others. All employees/contractors are given the opportunity to consult with Goldservice’s management team on matters relating to Health & Safety, or to appoint a representative to do so. We also keep a detailed record of the training that each employee has completed.

We review our policy every year

Rules, regulations and equipment change regularly, so we review our Health & Safety Policy annually.
